Pavlova step by step

  1. Preheat oven to 180degrees (C).
  2. Use electric mixer to beat egg whites and sugar for 10min or until thick and glossy. Mix in vinegar, Vanilla and cornflower together. Add to meringue. Beat on high speed for 5 more minutes. Line an oven tray with baking paper. Draw a 22cm circle on the baking paper. Spread the mixture to within 2cm of the edge of the circle keeping the same shape as round and even as possible. Smooth the top surface. Place the Pavlova in oven then turn temp down to 100°F (C). Bake Pavlova for 1 hr then turn oven OFF. Open oven door very slightly and leave Pavlova inside oven till "COLD". Carefully place Pavlova onto serving plate. Decorate with whipping cream, Strawerries, Kiwi fruit.
  3. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT : Do Not remove Pavlova from oven till "COLD" otherwise you stand the risk of the Pavlova collapsing inward.....not good!!!!.
